Punjab government's spokesman and senior leader of PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Nawaz Sharif is always on the mind of Imran Khan and he is suffering from Nawaz League phobia. Commenting on the speeches of Imran Khan in various cities, Senator Pervez Rashid said Imran Khan should also have visited flood-hit areas of South Punjab so that he could know about the steps taken by Shahbaz Sharif and PML-N to serve the masses for their rehabilitation.

He said it was a fact that Shahbaz Sharif stood by the flood-hit people of South Punjab while Imran Khan was talking about South Punjab only for the sake of elections. It was worth mentioning that the role of those personalities of South Punjab who had gathered around Imran Khan was doubtful, he added. He said Imran Khan, who raised the slogan of change was full of political contradictions and it was evident from his face.

Senator Pervez Rashid further said that people were fully aware of the performance of PML-N and could not be hoodwinked by the propaganda of any party including Tehrik-e-Insaf. He said it would be better if Imran Khan utilised his energies on some positive work because levelling baseless allegations for the sake of gathering people was lamentable and the outstanding performance of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab government with regard to South Punjab could not be hidden by the unjustified criticism of Imran Khan.
